Another skin cancer...

I was just told I have a squamous cancer on my cheek - ugh!! Moh's surgery again - first time on my ear, which went well, and the scar is hardly visible, but this time I worry about what it will look like :-(

I so wish I had used more sun block over the years!!!

    Oh @Karin that sucks. Like we need all of these extra things to worry about on top of our transplants. Your concerns are valid. I see you and I’m sending you so much strength and love

    Thank you both! I have the Moh’s scheduled now and the derm actually recommended I also get a CO2 laser treatment to prevent precancerous lesions to go further / of course not reimbursed but the side effect is smoother skin - maybe I prioritize this?? Anyone tried??

    I am so sorry - I hope the Moh’s won’t create too much deficiencies- so you won’t need reconstruction!!
