Congratulations to EVERYONE in the transplant community - recipients, donors, health care professionals, and supportive friends and family. It takes a village. But transplants create miracles of life. Ever so grateful as a dear friend of a transplant recipient at how well this system works, when it works!!!

And to add.... @Karin brought me into this community, but I so appreciate and value everyone I have gotten to know here... @AliEm14 @Jeanmarie @Berriosa1234 @Sdey0522 @TServold and many, many more.... You are the best!
Happy World Transplant Day to all of you involved in any way. A forever thanks and unmeasurable gratitude to my donor and family, to my lovely husband who was by my side all the way, and to all the medical staff personnel who took care of me with so much grace. This day is a special celebration for many around the world.

I'm so grateful to be a part of this community. Happy World Transplant Day to all!
I view transplant as a mycelial network of sorts. Everything is woven together. I am my own little eco system, comprised of so many people (both physically as I literally have other people's organs in my body as well as relationally.)
I am who I am because of everyone else. I love to think of myself as not a self, singular, but a self, a collection of selves.
😢This was so beautifully said!
Happy World Transplant Day, Joining the Transplantlyfe Community was one of the best decisions that I could have ever made for myself. It’s a great place to know that you’re supported. It has become my happy place thank you so all the members of the community for your continued support.
Happy World Transplant Day! I'm so thankful for this community. I felt so alone in transplant before I found TransplantLyfe and now, you are ALL my friends.
My transplant anniversary is August 14, 2022. In August 2023 I celebrated one year with a Rising Phoenix photoshoot. Today, world transplant day, my blog was shared by the photographer. I'd love to share it with you all.
