Hi,
i have been considering Nulojix for years but due to my pancreas they won’t risk it (no data yet).
what are some reasons for you all switching to nulojix, and when did you do it? Right after transplant? Or after a few months? Years?

As a kidney transplant patient, there are 2 reasons why my Nephrologist team suggested Nulojix. First, a spike in my creatinine levels 6 years after my transplant lead to a kidney biopsy to look for signs of rejection. While the results were negative, scarring was detected. Nulojix infusion was suggested as a replacement to daily Prograf (tacrolimus) tablets which was believed to be causing the scaring. Secondly, we hoped to see a dramatic drop in my creatinine levels. The team suggested that I seek information from patient forums similar this before making a decision. My interaction with those patients convinced me to give it a try. I have been receiving Nulojix infusions every 4 weeks since December 2016. I have been fortunate as my creatinine levels have dropped significantly and I have not had any side effects from this medication.
