A Guide to Transplantation
November 5, 2024
in General
Have you checked out the new guide to organ transplants? It is an excellent new resource on what to expect after a kidney transplant. Some of our members here at TransplantLyfe, along with transplant surgeons, helped create the guide.
I hope you find it useful. The link is on the homepage, and I have also included it here.

I did check it out and even though I'm not a kidney transplant recipient and hopefully will never have to become one, I LOVE IT. So useful for everyone who has to go through this and has no idea what's happening. I hope you are planning on doing it for every organ. Such an amazing resource to have.

I agree @Inka
I hope to never be in a situation where I need a kidney transplant, but having this information is always helpful. I love that there are things in there, like mental health resources and social support information, that can extend beyond transplant type too! Even if you aren't a kidney recipient, or waiting for a kidney, I still suggest looking through. You never know what you'll learn! We're more similar than we are different

I am so happy you find it useful - to me I wanted to check the guide post transplant many times, but since my center only gave me a paper version, I didn’t always carry it with me.
Thank you so much for this.
