What specific resources, policies, or informal support system(s) does your employer currently have, or could develop, to better address the unique needs and challenges faced by transplant recipients in the workforce, particularly regarding long-term health management, potential accommodations, and career development?

this is a great question, and good resources are hard to come by. I have found that we do have reasonable accomodations that can help. (ive been fortunate to be able to utitlize it) How about you?

When I was a teacher and on dialysis, I had a meeting with HR, and I was granted ADA accommodations. If I had dialysis the night before, the next day I could come to work 2 hours later. I was provided coverage if I need breaks when I was feeling fatigued. It helped me to work a little longer than expected.
