Post liver transplant tightness

I’m a transplant patient having tightness from hip to hip below the belly button. Doctor thinks it may be psoas muscle and I’ve been doing stretches for months it has helped but still gets tight. Plus I’m experiencing constipation after an ERCP stent removal

I frequently have abdominal tightness (I'm 5 years post liver transplant). Mine usually sits higher, but reaches side to side pretty close to my incision line. Unfortunately I don't have any answers as to why and no one has been able to tell me other than so much muscle was cut during my initial transplant surgery and when it healed it wove itself together really tight and almost knotted. If you're not already, I suggest physiotherapy, particularly someone with a knowledge of fascia and/or surgical trauma.

Thank you. Did you have any lower discomfort or tightness during your first year post transplant?

I honestly don’t remember. I think everything hurt all the time for that first year 😅 I did have a really rough surgery/recovery process though
