Any transplant recipient life coaches?

Hi everyone,
I am curious if there are any transplant recipients here that have become a life coach. More specifically, if there are recipients who have become a life coach, for transplant recipients. I am curious about this as a second career, and the process to get there.
Since my transplant I find I am naturally wanting to help other recipients, however I think I'd want some education or take courses to qualify myself to do this in a professional way.
Thanks!

Yes! Ask me anything!
I got certifications in mind body coaching, somatic psychology, polyvagal theory and trauma informed care. I already had a background in yoga, and I’ve added on specific techniques for working with grief, transplant and chronic illness. Everyone I work with has chronic illness in some capacity, and the majority are in some stage of their transplant journey.
@AliEm14 I didn't realize all of this! Thanks for sharing that :)
Where would you recommend that I start, if i were to want to get into life coaching - and specifically for transplant recipients?

Finding anything specifically catered to transplant recipients is basically non existent so what I found is a lot of piecing things together. You already have the lived experience so that's a huge component right there: Start with where you are, what your skills are and build out. When looking for a coaching training, make sure you choose one that is ICF accredited (international coaching federation). There is no governing body for coaches, which means there's a lot of people who get into it with zero qualifications or oversight, and having that international accreditation can really help back you up. If you can find any program that speaks to chronic illness, that's a bonus. If not adding other specialty certifications on top of your general coaching would be my recommendation.
Read all you can, specifically regarding transplant, the psychology of transplant, and anything you can find on trauma (medical trauma specifically). I can pass along some book recommendations if you want them.
And talk to as many people in the field you want to get into as possible. Not only did I work alongside people for my practicum hours for my certification, I also interviewed and learned from people who were where I wanted to be. You learn so much in practical conversation you'd never learn from reading or academic materials.
