Prograf versus tacrolimus

UCSD started me out on Prograf just over six years ago post transplant. I want to say that I was on program for the first year, and then was switched to tacrolimus and have been on that ever since.
I did not realize any change in side effects, and I believe my HMO would prefer to pay that price rather than the Prograf price.
