This has been a very different kind of year for me and my family, and I am deeply grateful for all the friends and loved ones who stood by me and encouraged me through everything. From my family to yours, I want to wish you a very happy, healthy, and joyful Thanksgiving—filled with great food and surrounded by the warmth of family and friends.

How was your first thanksgiving with your new kidney? Hopefully you were able to enjoy the meal and not catch any viruses that have been going around!
It was absolutely great. I haven't had turkey for over 2 years. I couldn't go to the gathering, but we had a nice quiet family meal and it was absolutely enjoyable. Thank you and hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Awesome! Ohhh, I bet that turkey tasted better than ever after a 2 year break! That sounds lovely and I am very happy to hear it all went well! Good call on avoiding the bigger gathering and the upside is that it won't be forever. I enjoyed my thanksgiving as well, especially because I wasn't hosting- haha! Thanks so much!
