2026 - who would have thought? I for one might not have thought I would be here when I was told I needed a transplant in 2009! So what is the secret. One step, or in my case, one tennis shot at a time, trying to live each day to its fullest.

Happy New Year. I have heard some people complaining about how bad 2025 was but I got another circle around the sun thanks to my donor Johnny and brilliant medical professionals! Was is it the best year? No, but it was a year. Being alive is a gift. I hope we all get to circle the sun again.

I feel exactly the same when I think about the road I traveled. I'm in awe of the life I live today. It taught me resilience and the importance of taking each moment as they come.
