What emotions do you find most challenging while living with CKD? (Anxiety, Frustration, sadness or irritability) What would tell someone who has been newly diagnosed about protecting their emotion well-being?

For me, it was feeling disappointed in myself. It is NOT a productive feeling at all, and kidney failure was not my fault, but I often feel disappointed in myself that I can't do certain things that I used to be able to do. That disappointment certainly came with the frustration of being sick and then going back and forth between feeling frustrated that I am now limited and disappointed that I can't overcome certain things. It is certainly an ongoing work in progress to keep those two emotions in check.
