Hi,

Those of you with Atrial Fibrillation, would love to hear what meds you're taking to control it that's been safe for a recipient.

Much appreciated.

Hi stwbear, I was diagnosed with constant Afib July of last year. I had been feeling off (heart flutter) since the beginning of the year but I was also dealing with high blood pressure issues as I have been in chronic rejection for almost 15 years and attributed it to that. Due to the amount of blood pressure meds I was on and because I was in constant Afib…and because sotalol can affect kidneys, my cardiologist recommended that I get a PF Ablation. This is the latest ablation procedure. I had it the end of November and have been in normal rhythm since. I had no issues with the procedure. Best of luck with whichever route you choose!
