Defining what support looks like for you
If you were in our transplantlyfe support group tonight, you’ll know we hosted the incredible Michelle who talked about holistic transplant patient support, and how meaningful support fills gaps in ways that medical transplant care doesn’t (and shouldn’t! We need people who have the sole focus of keeping us alive)
support is such a vital part of thriving as a transplant recipient, and we all will receive support differently. I’m curious what feels supportive to you? What practical, physical, emotional and relational things meet that need for you? Are you a 1:1 support person or do you love group supports?
or maybe how can you be better at asking for the supports you need so your people can meet you where you are?
