Has anyone been on zepbound since transplant?
My husband had his liver transplant Jan 2025 over the course of spending two months in the hospital after transplant he lost almost 100 pounds. He lost it fast but was actually at a good weight of 220 pounds. He was like 310 before. Well with being on steroids and methadone he is now up to 365 pounds. They approved him to take zepbound or tirzepatide weight loss shot and was on it for two months lost around 17 pounds and it ended up putting him in the hospital two weeks ago. His levels were highly elevated so they did a biopsy and it came back that drug induced caused it. So now he’s very sad about not being able to take it but understands why but he’s having so much trouble losing any weight even eating clean. Has anyone else tried the shot and it did same thing? Or any suggestions on how he can lose weight. He’s a big man 6ft 3 and now like 347 pounds. I’m worried about him starting to have heart problems next with his weight.
