Happened to me as a Kidney transplant patient when I lose my discipline of not keeping myself hydrated. The Summer can be crucial for patients on dialysis and transplant patients; I keep myself hydrated in the Summer as a Kidney transplant patient, when I do my creatine levels are usually decent, around 1.0, 1.3. I can often tell if my protein levels are high based on the amount of bubbles that appears in my urine. I got better at being aware of when I am losing my discipline of not keeping myself hydrated. What I realize also, and I was told this by a Physician that we get dehydrated while we sleep, and many do not keep water by their bedside at nights. I started get up at least twice at nights to drink water.

I do quite frequently (liver transplant but my genetic metabolic condition also did quite a number on my kidneys).

For me they tell me to watch stability as opposed to it being there or not. Managing my blood pressure has helped with the leakiness of my kidneys, as well as staying hydrated which has already been mentioned.

there’s a dedicated App to help remind you to drink water, I used it for awhile cause I wasn’t being responsible and my doctors complained I wasn’t drinking enough water

guys in the factory I worked at argued with me saying they’re getting water through monster cause it’s made with it…*facepalm*
