Recall of Certain Sunscreens Due to Benzene Contamination
We transplant folk have to be careful about our exposure to the sun. One of the tools in our arsenal is sunscreen. However, there are certain brands out there that may be more harmful than helpful. I bought some of these products because I thought they were better than some of the cheaper brands. The following article highlights the problem and brands: https://www.cnn.com/2021/07/17/health/sunscreen-recall-cancer-wellness/index.html
Here is a list of sunscreens that are thought to be safe: https://www.sciencebecomesher.com/21-oxybenzone-and-octinoxate-free-sunscreens/

Thanks for sharing @A_Ray
I've been using mineral sunscreen, either from BeautyCounter or Young Living, because I'm so wary of what's in most drugstore sunscreens. I agree, doing your research is key!
Wow! I needed this. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you! Sunscreen so important - I have already had 4-5 bcc and two squamous cell carcinomas - sure there will be more in my next visit to the derm!
