Weight loss as a donor
After donating part of my liver I was told they had to remove my gallbladder which at first I paid no mind to and moved on. But over time I noticed I was gaining more and more weight which was not an exciting thing for me as I try to be very active and go to the gym almost everyday so seeing the numbers on the scale go up and the fat pile on was incredibly disheartening. At the beginning of September I made it my mission to lose that weight again to be where I want to be physically. As of today I am officially 6 pounds down and lifting a lot heavier then I did a month ago, this is a milestone I am very proud of and I look forward to seeing the changes continue!

Congratulations on being 6 pounds down! That’s so exciting. I’m a recipient but I know the struggles of weight loss. It is truly a journey. Just take it one day at a time.
Congratulations on the weight loss. Keep it going. Great job. It's not easy so I applaud you.
