Transition from Brand name to Generic medication

Has anyone transitioned from Brand name meds to Generic

How did you do? Any side effects? Lab level issues etc.?

I currently take Cellcept (brand name) and Neoral ( brand name)

I may need to switch to generics due to insurance and am VERY concerned being I've taken Brand names for 27 years.

Did you change slowly, monitor labs?

Any information you can share is greatly appreciated.

I switched with no issues - no transition, just went from prograf to generic tac!

I never had a problem going from cellcept to generic but I did with prograf. I notice a huge change in my numbers on generic tac compared to prograf. So I only use prograf.
