The last time there was anything like this was when Christian Barnard performed the first heart transplant in Cape Town, South Africa. The patient was basically in the same shape as Bennett. That patient is my hero. Without his willingness to be the first heart transplant recipient, None of us who needed new hearts would be alive today.

The editing is key since pigs carry some viruses that can be very dangerous for humans / didn’t know they edit in human genes too a very cool @JimGleason_TRIO
