Nausea - has anyone else felt nausea post transplant and in long term management?

I was so nauseous after my surgery it was hard to eat or keep anything down! Now, 12 years later I still have nausea often and especially when eating fatty, spicy or raw foods...

I definitely relate to this! Right after surgery I had no appetite, felt nauseous every time I ate, and medications made everything taste different. I really struggled to eat enough. I still feel nauseous sometimes when I eat fatty foods or green leafy vegetables. I was on Pantoprazole (Protonix) for many months post-transplant to decrease stomach acid production. I am in the process of weaning off of it by taking it every other day, and definitely notice an increase in nausea on the days I don't take it. Hoping this passes as my body gets used to it!

I can totally agree and understand what your saying. I am 17 years post transplant and I still get nauseous when I eat certain foods.
