Amanda grew up very quickly when, at 15, she realized the responsibility behind being a heart transplant recipient, “Someone has to die in order for me to live. That’s a responsibility now. That's no longer something you can take lightly.”

This is... wow. Incredible. I know how much my life changed at 13 years old when I woke up in the hospital, not knowing how I got there, hearing the words "you have type 1 diabetes". I also now know how much my life changed when I received the call, and my new organs, at 37 years old. I am proud of you @ChefAmanda for all that you have overcome. Thanks for sharing your story.
