I have been a fan for many years / to me she is one of the greatest.
when I saw that she had a transplant in 2017 and was on dialysis before / I was surprised - I was not aware!

I also had no idea! I wasn’t a huge Tina Turner fan but had absolutely no clue she’d had a transplant

i admire her greatly… She had a career second to none, while getting abused by her husband and then after she left him without a penny, she came back in her forties (taught mick jagger how to move) and became even bigger solo! She also married again and was happy… gives hope! Her music is so strong and her personality even larger… her music may not appeal to everyone (I love rockn roll), but as a person I admire her even more ))
I had NO IDEA and am so grateful that the story of her transplant has finally come out. Only wish she and her donor were celebrated and part of the community during her life!!
