Hi friends. I'm headed to my transplant center (University of Michigan) this week for my 4-year kidney transplant follow-up appointment. Wish me luck! How long have you had your transplants?

I celebrated 7 years in May. I’ve been calling this year my 7th in 70 as I also turned 70 years old-10% of my life has been with this precious kidney transplant. I also had my kidney transplant at University of Michigan. My son is my living donor hero. Both of us are doing great and have great care there. With kidney transplant joy and thankfulness, Margo

Congratulations on 4 years and good luck with your yearly appointment!! I’m 2 and 1/2 years this month with a new liver and just completed my check up I’m still going every 6 months
MJK 7 years is wonderful!!
I’m still amazed that we’re walking around with organs that once belonged to others Good luck everyone

Congrats! I just had my 2 year follow up last week.
Good luck! My new kidney will be 19 years old in November. Hard to believe sometimes.
