what would you say to them if you were able to meet them right now.

Transplant Patient
I don't want to connect with my donor family. I had 2 back to back transplants, one from a living donor and one from a deceased donor. My living donor was my brother, and we are obviously very connected and close. I have no desire to connect with my deceased donor's family. They made a decision in a tough time that saved more lives than just mine, there's gratitude for that. My life is great, and I realize that wouldn't have been possible without my donor. And that's it. They do know I'm alive and doing well, and they have a relative idea of where I live and how old I am, and that's enough for me.
I can respect that decision 100% you arent the only person ive talked to that said they would rather not..
