KHOU: Three young friends get life-saving heart transplants days apart!

The three boys ages 6 and 7 became close friends while each waited almost a year each for a heart transplant. During their lengthy hospital stays on the same floor, all three of them spent time eating, playing, supporting one another, and celebrating milestones too.

I read this story a while back and thought it was so touching how worried they all were about one another. You see so much of that care and compassion in the transplant community. Thanks for sharing, Sam! I love stories like this.
