What a great conversation @brookegurrad! Truly loved getting into the thick of it, talking about compliance, mental health and the need for proper post transplant housing! So many good, good things!

@Karin, hearing @Denise_R's journey to heart transplant was great and encouraging for many.
The two of us dug into what it means to be "compliant" as a transplant patient and still advocate yourself.
We discussed the unknowns of post-transplant recovery that our medical teams didn't share with us, particularly mental health, and what a "new normal" may look like from day to day.
I'll have to check out the episode. Thanks for sharing!
