Has anyone ever used belatacept before?

Has anyone had any side effects of taking belatacept? I potentially could be put on to help lower my antibodies to potentially get me a new kidney, with a CPRA of 100 percent its been near impossible to find a match. but would love to know if anyone has used belatacept and had any side effects?

‘Bela’ as they call it, is a weekly injection. I haven’t been on bela but Cincinnati told me I would be on bela before my transplant. Hi Alex!

I never was on it
My Son is on Belatacept monthly post transplant after switching due to the side effects of the Tacro. He seems to be doing much better on the Bela than the Tacro. Hope this helps.
I am on it. Only 4 months since my kidney transplant, but I hear from pharmacist and other transplant patients, it is great and easier on the kidney than the alternatives. I am on it now once a month, in the beginning it was once a week.
