There is no better meal than the meal you have right after fasting for labs or a procedure! Shout out to @Berriosa1234 inspiring this thought!

Facts. When they tell me to fast, I always hungry. Any other time I not hungry
True story. I was once in a hospital to get my dialysis catheter and had to fast 3 days in a row until dinner, since they were not sure if they were going to do it that day or not. The dinner meal was the best I ever had, no matter what they gave me.
That is just torture! I bet that hospital food never tasted better, haha!
Haha! It is a bit of a mental game for sure! I'm getting hungry just thinking about this.
hahaha, exactly :D
yeah fasting before labs isnt for the faint of heart and yes i was in the hospital recently and i had to NPO for almost 2 days because they werent sure when they were going to the procedure and then top it off when i was able to "eat" it was clear liquid diet..jello never tasted so good

I agree with the I'm not hungry until they tell me I can't eat. I also get seriously hangry, so apologies to anyone who has to be around me when I'm fasting. I will admit, I'm not the most loyal person to the NPO rule, and I've been told by doctors because of my history that I can do clear fluids almost right up until whatever I need to fast for for the most part. I've mastered the clear liquid diet, and I'm really good as long as I have that (supplying my own because what the hospital offers as a clear liquid diet sucks)
But I will say that pasta with marinara sauce I had after fasting once remains the best pasta I've ever had in my life.
