Mine is "This too shall pass!". And oddly enough I'm a runner and one of my running shoes has that saying on it. Pretty wild! 😲🤔

    I can do hard things.

and as much as possible, I try to get out of my head and into my body. My head tells stories about how I’m feeling that keep me stuck in fear and suffering but if I can just ride the waves in my body it’s easier

so the most recent mantra ive been saying to myself is... "Its not my fault" at first i was feeling quite uncertain about that, but as ive been recently dealing with lots of uncertainity and brain fog and just overall malaise i have to learn to reframe my thinking and realize that i am in control of my thoughts and like @AliEm14 you said above i have to get out of my head and stop listening to those stories. im learning to lean into the waves and learn to be present with those i love and these folks in this wonderful communityl

I am with @eachone on this one. This, too, shall pass. In those moments when the next seems so far away, just breathe, and remember that.

Becoming resilient comes with each breathe and each spoken mantra. We have family, friends, and each other to get through the hard times. Thank goodness for that!

We all experience ups and downs, but the waves often seem much larger after a transplant. On the difficult days, I try to take life one moment at a time and remind myself that every wave eventually settles. I pray for the strength to keep moving forward.

Today, I am two years post–liver transplant and doing well. Whenever I start to struggle, I remind myself how truly fortunate and blessed I am to have been given this second chance at life.
